Privacy Week is the annual event hosted by The Office of the Privacy Commissioner to promote privacy awareness, inform people of their rights under the Privacy Act, and help educate organisations about their responsibilities.

This year’s event runs from the 8th to 12th May and focuses on “Privacy rights in the digital age”. The Privacy Commissioner is running a series of free webinars (Office of the Privacy Commissioner | Privacy Week 2023: Privacy rights in the digital age 8-14th May) covering topics related to digital privacy like online dating, biometrics, AI and more.

To celebrate this year’s New Zealand’s Privacy Week, and to have a bit of fun, Mosaic has developed a privacy-related puzzle, which aims to demonstrate that although what might appear as non-related snippets of information, when combined, people are never truly anonymous.

And what’s more, there is a prize !!

The competition prize is one seat on our next IAPP Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) Training Course (excluding exam), being held on the 21st and 22nd June in Wellington. The cost of this course is normally valued at $1,995 (Note. The winner is responsible for all other costs associated with attending the course other than the course fees charged by Mosaic).

The winner of the competition will be drawn at random from all correct entries submitted in the prescribed format to info@mosaicfsi.com Entries received after 4 pm Friday 12th May will not be accepted.
