Privacy Week is the annual event hosted by The Office of the Privacy Commissioner to promote privacy awareness, inform people of their rights under the Privacy Act, and help educate organisations about their responsibilities.

The event ran from the 8^th to 12^th May and focused on “Privacy rights in the digital age”. The Privacy Commissioner ran a series of free webinars (Office of the Privacy Commissioner | Privacy Week 2023: Privacy rights in the digital age 8-14th May) which covered topics related to digital privacy like online dating, biometrics, AI and more.

To celebrate New Zealand’s Privacy Week, and to have a bit of fun, Mosaic has developed a privacy-related puzzle, which aims to demonstrate that although what might appear as non-related snippets of information, when combined, people are never truly anonymous.
